Founder, Medical Director & Aesthetic Medicine Doctor
AHPRA registration: MED0001217081
Dr Michael Kirk is an AHPRA-registered medical practitioner and the founder of Hillview Aesthetics. He established the clinic on a simple conviction: that cosmetic treatment is medicine, and deserves the same rigour, honesty and duty of care as any other part of your health.
His approach is deliberately conservative and unhurried. Every treatment begins with a proper consultation, where he takes the time to understand your concerns, assess what is genuinely suitable for you, and talk openly about the options, the potential risks and the results you can realistically expect. He'd always rather do a little less and keep you looking like yourself — and if a treatment isn't right for you, he'll say so.
As Medical Director, Dr Kirk oversees care within a clinical framework built around patient safety, informed consent and ongoing professional development. Whatever brings you in, his aim is for you to feel informed, comfortable and in control of every decision. All treatments are elective, and individual results vary.
Hillview Aesthetics was founded on a simple belief: cosmetic treatment is medicine, and it deserves the same care, honesty and clinical standards as any other part of your health.
Our clinic is led by a registered medical practitioner, and every treatment is provided following a proper consultation and assessment. We're conservative by nature — we'd always rather do a little less and keep you looking like you.
If a treatment isn't right for you, we'll tell you. That honesty is the whole point.
— The Hillview team
Treatment led and overseen by a registered practitioner, with proper consultation, record-keeping and follow-up.
A conservative, restrained philosophy focused on refreshing your features — never overdoing them.
Unhurried appointments and straight answers, including when the honest answer is "not yet" or "not this."
Considered, city-standard care without the drive — right here in regional Central Queensland.
Yes. A consultation and assessment with our practitioner is required before any treatment, so we can confirm what's suitable and safe for you. It's also your chance to ask anything, with no obligation to proceed.
That's exactly what we work to avoid. Our approach is deliberately conservative and tailored to your features, with the goal of a refreshed, natural result that still looks like you.
It varies by individual and treatment. Many people return to their day fairly quickly, though some temporary effects can occur. We'll explain what to expect for your specific plan during your consultation.
All medical procedures carry some risk. Provided by a suitably qualified practitioner after proper assessment, cosmetic injectables are generally well tolerated — but the potential benefits and risks for you personally will be discussed openly before you decide anything.
Australian regulations limit how clinics can advertise prescription treatments to the public. Rather than skirt those rules, we discuss specific products, your suitability and pricing privately during your consultation — where we can give you accurate, individual advice.
